What happens when one Link becomes four? Chaos, comedy, and surprisingly heartfelt teamwork. The Four Swords manga gives each Link a distinct personality: Green (brave leader), Red (cheerful optimist), Blue (hot-headed fighter), and Vio (cool strategist). Then it lets them bounce off each other.

This Legendary Edition collects both the Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures arcs, including the fan-favorite Shadow Link storyline. It’s lighter in tone than the other Zelda manga, but don’t mistake funny for shallow. The themes of friendship and trust run deep.

For parents: This is the most humor-driven Zelda manga, making it a great entry point for younger readers. The teamwork themes are excellent, and the character dynamics teach kids that different personality types all have value.

For kids and teens: Imagine if you had to work with three copies of yourself and they were all annoying in different ways. That’s this manga, and it’s hilarious. Vio’s secret mission is one of the best plot twists in any Zelda story.
